NOTE
Start button, you can use the power button on the
front of the system to power off. Press and hold in
the power button for about ten seconds to shut down
the system manually.

Setting the Date and Time

Use the following steps to set the system date and time
within Windows 95 or Windows NT.
Double click the system clock on the taskbar.

Set the time by entering the current hour, minutes, and

seconds in the appropriate fields, hh:mm:ss. Move from
field to field with the Tab key or Shift-tab to move from
right to left.
Set the date by entering the month and year in

appropriate fields. To select the day, click on the
numeric day of the calendar.

Using Diskettes

Follow these steps to insert a 3.5-inch diskette in the
standard diskette drive.
Holding the diskette at its top edge, insert it into the

diskette drive:

label side facing right in desktop systems.

label side up in minitower systems.

Insert the diskette all the way into the drive until you
hear a click.
