Trouble
Incorrect temperatrue readings on
thermostat display.
Corn feeder doesn't work.
Sifter doesn't spin.
Possible reason
27. Open circuit.
28. Temp sensor BT connection
is a wrong polarity.
29. Stepper driver DD wrong
settings.
30. Stepper driver DD fault.
31. Step motor M2 fault.
32. Open circuit.
33. Soiled wheels of rollers;
sifter installed unevenly on
the rollers; sifter drum is
deformated.
34. Motor M3 fault.
35. Capacitor C fault.
Remedy
Check continuity between:
Heating elements EK1, EK2;
•
•
Contactor KM1;
Solid-state relay VS;
•
Relay K2;
•
•
Thermostat DC2;
Thermal cut-out AT;
•
Restore connection, face up pitted
contacts, tighten loosen contacts.
Check connection polarity of the
sensor. Fix the wrong polarity.
Set the factory settings.
Run machine in testing mode, and
start corn feeder operation. Check
to see if there are pulse voltage on
(A+), (A-), (B+), (B-) terminals of the
driver during its operation.
Replace fault driver.
Check step motor. Its rotor should
spin freely. No open or short circuit,
nor ground fault in its windings.
Replace fault step motor.
Check continuity between:
•
Step motor M2;
Stepper driver DD;
•
Fixed resistor R;
•
•
PLC DC1.
Restore connection, face up pitted
contacts, tighten loosen contacts.
Clean the wheels. Make sure the
sifter drum is not deformed. Put
sifter back on the rollers. Make sure
that sifter rims fit the wheels. Rotate
sifter with a hand. Sifter should
rotate in even manner.
Check the motor. Its rotor should
spin freely. Make sure that there is
no open or short circuit, nor ground
fault in its windings. Resistance of
each winding must be about the
same.
Replace fault motor.
Check the capacitor. Its capacity
should be 1 µF.
Replace fault capacitor.
