6.3 Troubleshooting
Trouble
Spinning head doesn't spin after
main switch turned on.
Excessive vibration during
operation.
Spinning head doesn't get hot after
heat switch is turned on.
Possible reason
Machine is not plugged to the
mains.
No power in the wall receptacle.
Power cord fault.
FU fuse fault.
SA1 switch fault.
C1 capacitor fault.
M1 motor fault.
Open circuit.
Transport fastening nut are not
loosen.
Loosen bolted joints that fix motor
to the chassis.
Spring-mounted supports fault.
Chassis fault.
SA2 switch fault.
EK heating element fault.
Remedy
Plug in the machine to mains.
Check the voltage in the receptacle.
Check the power cord.
Replace fault component.
Check the fuse.
Replace fault component. If it keeps
blowing out, find and elimitate
short circuit in the machine.
Check the switch operation.
Replace fault component.
Check the capacitor.
Replace fault component.
Check the motor coils. There should
not be open circuit.
Replace fault component.
Check continuity between:
•cord plug
•XS inlet
•SA1 switch
•M1 motor
•C1 capacitor
Restore connection, face up pitted
contacts, tighten loosen contacts.
Release all four transport fastening
nut.
Tighten the bolted joints.
Check spring-mounted supports.
Replace fault supports.
Check chassis to see if it has any
deformations, cracks and so on.
Replace chassis if necessary.
Check the switch operation.
Replace fault component.
Check the heating element for open
circuit.
Replace fault component.
