ZyWALL 1050/ZyWALL USG 300 Support Notes
Step1. Navigate to ZyWALL > Device HA > VRRP GROUP.
First, enable the Link Monitor feature on the master router. Therefore, if a master ZyWALL
VRRP interface's link is down all the master's VRRP interfaces will be shut down so the
backup ZyWALL takes over completely.
Remark: With the latest design in ZLD 2.0x, when one of the VRRP interface's link in the
master ZyWALL is down, the Device HA status of the failed interface will remain "active" but
Device HA status of the reset of not-failed interface will turn into "fault". This design will
guarantees the backup ZyWALL can correctly detect the failure event from the master
ZyWALL.
Secondly, click the "add" icon to add a new VRRP GROUP.
