Step4. After applying all the routing settings, the PC in ZyWALL LAN subnet can
communicate with the ZyWALL 2.
2.4. Setup Device HA (Activate-Passive)
We will configure the Device HA setting on master ZyWALL first. Then we can connect the
Backup ZyWALL cables to L3 and L2 switch and then synchronize the configuration from
Master. The Device HA will be ready after this and Backup ZyWALL would take over when
Master ZyWALL fails.
