Pry slightly to access the double-sided mounting tape underneath the LCD panel. Then

carefully pull to detach the double-sided mounting tape. Repeat the same procedure to remove
the double-sided mounting tape on another side of the LCD panel.
Remove the LCD panel. Then carefully flip the LCD panel to access its connector.

Detach and unroute the eDP cable from the LCD panel as shown in the illustration below.
