Stored routes can be deleted.
Store the route in advance.

Hint
The present route is
automatically deleted in the
following instances:
¡When having set a new route
after a
quick/single/multiple/home
route search.
¡When having changed a route.
¡When having re-effectuated a
route search (detour/reroute).
¡When having retrieved a
stored route.

ROUTE SIMULATION

Route Simulation
You can display the set route on the
screen and watch a simulation of the
trip on a map. (This is called a route
simulation.) If set in advance, this
operation is convenient for verifying
the whole route ahead of time including
intersection enlargement, route
information as well as voice guidance
prior to your departure.

If performing a route
simulation for a route stored in
the memory, it is necessary to
retrieve that route. (The
retrieved route becomes the
"Current Route".)

Select Route Simulation from
the drop-down menu
and press the Ä

: The simulation is initiated.

To end route simulation...
The route simulation will repeat
itself continuously until you press
either the Ñ or
É button.

The route is displayed and the simulation
starts. Use the IN/OUT buttons to watch the
simulation at the desired reduction scale.
Hint
During route simulation,
intersections may not enlarge,
the voice guide may lag or the
present location mark may make
wide moves on the screen. This
does not mean that the unit is
malfunctioning.
