5 Mounting and connection
5.4.2 Preparing assembly
 Remove the MiniCODER and suitable distance gauge from the original packaging.
Cleaning the mounting surface
 Insert the two positioning pins (P) into the bores.
 Thoroughly clean the mounting surfaces on the mounting fixture and the
MiniCODER (M) as well as the fastening elements (B) to achieve good electrical
conductivity.
5.4.3 Mounting the MiniCODER on the mounting fixture

 Place the distance gauge (G) in the installation space on the target wheel.
 Place MiniCODER (M) carefully on the mounting surface so that the two position-
ing pins slide into the centering groove of the MiniCODER (M).
