communications port. The SADPmini outputs ASCII strings unsolicited without the
need for handshaking at the interval selected.
Operation – In the 'Logging Menu' select the 'Printer LOG' option.
The user is required to enter a value for the interval between readings in minutes. The
default setting is 0.1 minutes or 6 seconds. Pressing the '' key starts, the logging
process and brings up the 'External LOG' display screen, which indicates the current
moisture value.
Pressing the '' key at any point will stop logging.
Note: By default the SADPmini will output a moisture value in the current units every 6
seconds.
11.2.9 Unit Address
Description – It is possible to communicate with up to 32 SADPmini units via the
RS485. However, for this to operate correctly each unit must have a different address.
The default address setting for the SADPmini is 1.
Operation – In the 'Logging Menu' select the 'Unit Address' option. The user is then
required to enter the required address using the standard numerical editor format.
Pressing the '' key confirms the new address.
11.2.10Free Space
Description – This routine allows the user to see how much space is available in the
SADPmini memory, in terms of logged readings.
Operation – In the 'Logging Menu' select the 'Space Free' option. The screen
automatically reverts to the 'Logging Menu' after 3 seconds.
11.2.11Exit
Description – The Exit option allows the user to return to the normal display.
Operation – In the 'Logging Menu' select the 'Exit' option.
12 Pressure Correction
When a line pressure is entered (see 11.1.2) and ºC or ºF have been selected the
displayed moisture value is pressure corrected. The fact that pressure correction is active
is indicated by the phrase "@ 10 barg" (or some variation) been displayed.
Pressure corrected values are also used in the External Log and Internal Log screens
when ºC or ºF are the selected units.
