Procedure

Complete the following steps to remove and replace a power supply.
1. To leave the router in service while you replace a power supply, verify that the

4. Unscrew the captive screw ( 3 in Figure 11), using a Phillips screwdriver.

5. Remove the power supply from the chassis by pulling the handle ( 4 ) on the

Attention:
Do not force the installation. If the power supply does not slide in
easily, ensure that it is correctly oriented before continuing.
a. Verify that the AC switch on the new power supply is in the "O" (off) position.
b. Orient the power supply as shown in 2 of Figure 11, with the ac power
receptacle and ac switch on the left.
c. Using the handle, gently push the power supply into the chassis until it is
firmly seated.
d. Tighten the captive screw.
