Problems
1. The screen is too bright or too dark.
. Afterimages appear.
. Green/red/blue/white dots or defective dots remain
on the screen.
. Interference patterns or pressure marks remain on
the screen.
. Noise appears on the screen.
6. Characters are pigmentized.
7. No sound/Volume control is not available.
8. Sound volume varies depending on the device
connected.
9. The monitor turns off suddenly.

Possible cause and remedy
• Adjust using [Brightness] or [Contrast] in [Color] menu.
(The LCD monitor backlight has a fixed life span. When
the screen becomes dark or begins to flicker, contact
your local dealer.)
• Select "Standard" or "High" in [Color] - [Advanced
Settings] menu - [Auto EcoView]. (Refer to
The monitor adjusts the screen brightness automatically
according to the environmental brightness and displayed
image brightness.
• Use a screen saver, PowerManager, or the Off Timer
function for a long-time image display.
• Afterimages are particular to LCD monitors. Avoid
displaying the same image for a long time.
• This is due to LCD panel characteristics and is not a
failure.
• Leave the monitor with a white or black screen. The
symptom may disappear.
• When utilizing [ContrastEnhancer] and/or
[OutlineEnhancer] function, the normal images may not
be displayed since the display gradation abnormality or
noise may occur on the screen depending on the display
pattern.
• When [OutlineEnhancer] is set excessively, the
characters on the screen may be affected by color.
• Check whether the audio cable is connected properly.
• Check whether a headphone is connected to the
headphone jack.
• Adjust the sound volume.
• Adjust the volume difference between the connected
devices in [Monitor Settings] - [Advanced Settings] menu
- [Sound Level]. (Refer to
