The USB devices connected to the monitor do not
work.
(VIDEO Input / HDMI (Video Signal) Input)
Problems
1.
No Picture
• Power indicator does not light up.
• Power indicator lights in blue.
. The video images are out of control by the FF/REW
operation when a video device is connected to the
monitor.
. Color blurring and color stripe, and point-like
noise appear (VIDEO1 (video signal) input).
. The display of the screen is not correct (VIDEO1
input).
Possible cause and remedy
• Check whether the USB cable is connected correctly.
• Check the setting in [USB Selection] of [Monitor Settings]
menu. (Refer to
page
14.)
- When it does not run on the PC connected to PC input
"Auto" or the port ("PC1" or "PC2") connected to the
PC with a USB cable is selected.
- When it does not run on the PC connected to HDMI
input
The port ("PC1" or "PC2") connected to the PC with a
USB cable is selected.
• Change the USB port to another one (downstream
port). If the PC or peripheral devices work correctly by
changing the USB port, contact your local dealer. (Refer
to the manual of the PC for details.)
• Reboot the PC.
• Connect the PC and peripheral devices directly. If the PC
or peripheral devices work correctly without connecting
via the monitor (working as a USB hub), please contact
your local dealer.
• Check whether the PC and OS are USB compliant. (For
USB compliance of the respective devices, consult their
manufacturers.)
• Check the PC's BIOS setting for USB when using
Windows. (Refer to the manual of the PC for detail.)
Possible cause and remedy
• Check whether the power cord is correctly connected. If
the problem persists, turn off the main power, and then
turn it on again a few minutes later.
• Turn the main power switch on.
• Press

• Check whether the device is properly connected to the
monitor.
• Check whether the power of the connected device is
turned on.
• Set each adjusting value in [Brightness] and [Contrast] to
higher level. (Refer to
page
• Check "Input Signal" in [Information] menu. If "Signal
Error" is displayed, the input signal from the device is
outside the specification of the monitor. Confirm the
signal specification by referring to the instruction manual
of the device connected.
• The monitor mechanism causes the image out of control
status a little. This is not a malfunction.
• When the input format of the video signal is NTSC or
PAL, check whether the setting is "Enable" in [Monitor
Settings] - [Advanced Settings] menu - [3D-Y/C].
According to the connected device, setting "Disable" may
disappear the symptom.
([3D-Y/C] setting is available only for NTSC and PAL
format.)
• Change the input signal format in [Monitor Settings] -
[Advanced Settings] menu - [Color System].
(Normally, select "Auto".)
