When to talk to your healthcare provider

The Stelo Glucose Biosensor System empowers you to make lifestyle decisions on
your own.
Consult your healthcare provider (HCP) if you have any questions around medication.
Don't change medication based on sensor data.
People with diabetes
If you have type 2 diabetes, it can change over time, so you may need to change your
diabetes management strategies.
If your readings are consistently outside target range (70–180 mg/dL), you may need
to consult your HCP for guidance.
Talk to your HCP about changes that are needed to bring your glucose where you want
it to be.
Medications
Don't make any medication adjustments based on your readings without talking to
your HCP first. Increasing, decreasing, or stopping your medications can cause
changes to your glucose or overall health. Consider reviewing your sensor readings
with your HCP to address any changes to your medication needs.
People without diabetes (or with prediabetes)
Glucose changes during the day. Monitoring the way food, physical activity, or other
lifestyle factors impact your glucose can help inform a conversation with your HCP.
If your readings are consistently outside target range (70–140 mg/dL), you may need
to consult with your HCP for guidance.
