Problem
Oven
The oven door won't
open.
The halo around the
oven temperature
knob alternates
between orange and
red during use.
The convection fan
does not come on in a
CONVECTION mode.
Uneven baking.
Cooktop burners
None of the burners,
grill, or griddle will
light.
Possible causes
The oven is in a CLEAN cycle and
the door is still locked , as
indicated by the white halo
around the oven mode knob.
The oven needs to heat
periodically (orange) to maintain
the set temperature during use.
Technical fault.
Oven not properly preheated.
Unsuitable or incorrectly arranged
bakeware.
No power supply.
No gas.
What to do
See section 'Using the CLEAN
cycle' in 'Care and cleaning' for
information.
This is normal.
Contact your Authorized Service
Center or Customer Care.
Wait until the halo around the
temperature knob has changed
from orange to red before
putting food in.
See 'Oven cooking guidelines'
for advice.
Check that there is no power
outage in your area and that
the power supply to the range
is switched on at the circuit
breaker panel.
Check that the gas supply to the
house is working. You should
hear the gas when you turn
a burner on. If you are using
bottled gas, check that it is not
empty.
