Adjustment
<From previous page>
If the difference in length of 100 forward stitching and 100 reverse stitching is not within
±5 mm, adjust it by following the procedures below.
1. Insert the hex wrench (2.5 mm) into the hole of rear cover, and then loosen the screw A of the FPM holder. (Fig.1)
Loosen the screw A of the FPM holder. (Fig.1)
*Key point
• We recommend you to remove the base plate assembly before turning the screw A.
2. Adjust the total length of 100 backward stitches by turning the screw B of the FPM holder assy. (Fig. 2)
*Key point
• Loosen the screw B (turn to the direction of "A"). Total length of 100 backward stitches gets longer.
• Tighten the screw B (turn to the direction of "B"). Total length of 100 backward stitches gets shorter.
3. After adjustment, apply a small amount of the thread locker to the screw A. (Fig.1)
4. Check the difference in length of 100 forward stitching and 100 reverse stitching as described in the previous
page.
*Key point
• The screw A of the FPM holder must be tightened when you check it.
If the screw A of the FPM holder is not tightened, fabric feeding does not work properly.
5. After adjustment, apply a small amount of the thread locker to screw B.
