Step 5: TOOL REQUIRED: Drill; 3/8in Hex Driver; 1/2in Socket Wrench IMPORTANT - THIS STEP REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE FOR PROPER INSTALLATION. Place the HexCap cover assembly SQUARELY on the trailer with [Fg 6] the Front Bulk Head (with Hinges) [B] onto the front of the trailer as shown.

Step 7: TOOL REQUIRED: Drill; 3/8in Hex Driver; 1/2in Wrench IMPORTANT - THIS STEP REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE FOR PROPER INSTALLATION. From the front of the trailer locate the #5 U-Tube. Measure 1 inch across and 1 inch down and mark this spot. Drill a hole using a dill with a 3/8 inch drill bit in the marked location.

Step 9: Secure each Latch to a Latch Plate with the horizontal lip of the Latch Plate [N] facing away from the Latch [J] using the supplied 10-24 Nuts [Q] and 10-24 Screws [P] as shown. [Fg 16] NOTE: There is a Right & Left version of the Latch Plate [N].

Step 11: TOOL REQUIRED: Drill; Philips Head Driver Apply Weather Striping [K] to each end of the HexCap Body Cover [A]. [Fg IMPORTANT: The “Tooth” on the Weather Striping [K] must face inwards on the cover. [Fg 21] Secure the Weather Stripping [K] using six (6) Upholstery Nails [R] per side as shown.
WARNING ALWAYS BE SURE THE LATCHES ARE FULLY LOCKED AND SECURE BEFORE TRANSIT. FAILURE TO PROPERLY LOCK AND SECURE THE HEXCAP LATCHES MAY RESULT BODILY INJURY, DEATH, AND/OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. NEVER BEGIN TRANSIT WITH THE HEXCAP COVER LATCHES UNLOCKED WARNING ALWAYS BE SURE ALL CONNECTIONS ARE SNUG AND FULLY SECURE BEFORE TRANSIT.
