  • Page 2 STEP 1 After your freight shippment is fully inspected. Unwrap the protective plastic from the Blackbox Carrier. STEP 2 Unwrap the LED Lights [Fg. 2] [Fg. 1] bubble-wrapped underneath the BlackBox Carrier. Install each brake light carefully by removing the two self-tapping screws located on the front side of the BlackBox (logo side) and re-inserting the...
  • Page 3 STEP 4 Remove the Twintube Spine from the box. [Fg. 5] SILENT Remove the Silent Hitch Pin (without the handle) and SPRING NUT HITCH PIN washers inserted into the end of the shank. [Fg. 5] Insert the Spring Nut (if not already factory installed) so it aligned with either first or 2nd hole on the inside of the Shank.

  • Page 5 STEP 6 REQUIRED TOOL: 1/2” WRENCH The Hat Brackets on the carrier are set-up in a generic factory setting. You can adjust the carriers installed and slideout clearance by loosening the Hat Brackets and then re-tightening them to 18 ft. lbs. LESS CLEARANCE Users wanting less clearance between the tow vehicle and carrier should position the Hat Brackets closer to the vehicle on the Slide Tubes.
