: Preparation
STEP 1
Loosen the Hat Brackets [P] of the Base [N] already installed on
your pre-owned V-Lectric Carrier.
Slide the Base [N] back towards the vehicle and out of the way.
Leave these connections loose at this time.
NOTE: This V-Lectric Expansion Kit add-on MUST position furthest
away from vehicle. The Safety Cable located on the Base included
with your original V-Lectric Carrier [N] MUST be positioned closest
to the vehicle.

- Page 2 STEP 2 REQUIRED TOOL: 1/2” WRENCH Set the new Base [N] on top of the platform. [Fg. 2] Bring each Hat Bracket [P] (four total) up from underneath platform so the Hat Brackets wrap around the tubes of the platform and align with the holes on the Base [N].
- Page 3 STEP 5: Insert two (2) Upper Wheel Cradles [W] with Rubber Straps [Y] [Fg. 6] facing in opposite directions into the Cylinders located on the two (2) Cradle Housing [AA] installed above the foam bumpers on each Wing [Z] as shown. [Fg. 6] Secure each Upper Wheel Cradle [W] with a Retainer Clip [BB].
- Page 4 Operation: Bicycle Mounting Refer to Page 7 of your original V-Lectric Manual P/N B01892 for proper bicycle mounting procedure. WARNING: Always secure each bicycle with all four connections points (two Upper Wheel Cradles & two Lower Cradles). Do not operate the vehicle unless all connection points are tight and secured. Failure to follow bicycle mounting procedure may result in damage to carrier, damage to property, bodily injury or death.
