4.11.1 GUI Operation
Windows GUI application software is provided to the user to control the Multi-Channel Fiber-Coupled Light Source
from the computer. A Software Development Kit (SDK) also comes with the device, which will allow the user to
integrate the Multi-Channel Fiber-Coupled Light Source into their own applications.
4.11.2 Software Requirements

Windows 7 (32 or 64-bit) or Later
•
.Net Framework 4.6.2 Full Profile (or higher) must be installed
•
Microsoft Visual Studio for SDK Demo project
4.11.3 Command Line Operation
The system may also be controlled by a command line language through the USB port. This is offered to enable
operation through a terminal interface or for those who may want to write their own program to control the unit.
The command language is described below. Prior to running the command line interface, the unit should be
powered on, and a USB cable should be connected between the MCLS2-CUSTOM Source and the host.
The terminal emulator should be set as follows:
