Adjusting the Parameters

When an adjustable value is double tapped, a popup keypad screen will appear allowing for direct adjustment of
the value; see figure 6 below. While the parameter is selected, the control knob can be used to adjust the value
even when the keypad popup is not selected. When a parameter is selected for adjustment the knob backlight
will glow the color corresponding to the channel being adjusted. The default knob color is white. A channels
default color is assigned based on the light source wavelength and can be changed in the Channel Settings Sub-
Menu, Section 4.2.4.
The other menus and their functions are:

the right.
Check Icon: Sets the value entered and does not close the window.
Back Icon: Return to the previous screen.
+ and -: Increases or decreases the value by one.
Value Bar: The bar between the '+' and '-' will show a relative level from 0 to the limit set in the setup
menu under System Limits. Touch and slide bar up and down to adjust parameter.
Generally, the same adjustment screen will be available for each parameter chosen and adjusting their value is
the same.

Description of Parameters

Output Set
Output Set, the second column of buttons, allows the user to set the output level of the selected source. Each
source will have its own scaling and behavior over the 0 – 100 % output range. For more information on how to
characterize a given sources output behavior see Section 4.4 Modulating the Source Output.
Light Source Temperature
Temperature, the fourth column of buttons, adjusts the TEC controller for the available light sources. The
temperature can be adjusted from 20 °C to 30 °C. Pressing the fourth column buttons will allow adjustment of the
temperature set point. By default, the value shown is the set temperature, but it can be changed to read
temperature in the General Menu, Section 4.6.3.
