Settings Menu
The settings sub-menu, denoted by a gear icon, is brought up by touching the right dot in the bottom left of the
home screen.
The first tab, showing a monitor with gears icon, allows the user to set display brightness preferences. The second
tab, showing a knob icon, allows the user to change backlight colors and change step increments. The third tab,
showing a wrench and screwdriver, lists system settings. Lastly, the tab with the info icon provides system
information such as serial numbers and firmware versions.
4.6.1
Display Menu
The Display menu allows for adjustment of the Display brightness as listed below.

Enable Dimming Timeout (Checkbox): Tap to check/uncheck. Check to enable use of the Dimming
Timeout described below.

Dimming Timeout (s): This appears when the Enable Dimming Timeout checkbox is checked, it determines
the amount of time the screen will be at the Brightness after turning on the MCLS2-CUSTOM or touching
the screen. If further adjustments are made, the timer is reset. After the timeout, the screen will dim to
the Dim Brightness described below. By default, this is set to 30 seconds.

Brightness (%): This option controls how bright the screen is during use. If Enable Dimming Timeout is not
selected the screen will stay at this value while on. The value is displayed as a percentage.

Dim Brightness (%): This appears when the Enable Dimming Timeout checkbox is checked, it controls how
bright the display will be when the dimmed via timeout. The value is displayed as a percentage.
•
Double Tap Timeout (ms): This determines the amount of time that a double tap function, e.g., a number
pad, will be available after the initial double-tap or from the last touch of the double tap function screen.
