A. Power Up
NOTE. To assure proper operation under all conditions, always
plug the AC adapter into the RFM 150 before connecting to the
AC power source.
1. Connect the supplied power adapter to the RFM 150 power
input. Connect the adapter plug to an appropriate AC power
source. (For battery operation, skip this step.)
2. Press the front-panel POWER key to turn on the RFM 150.
3. A beep will signal that the instrument is booting, and the
instrument software version information will be displayed
momentarily. (More information about the power switch
modes, including sleep state, appears on page 3-15.)
4. Using a television signal from either cable feed or antenna,
connect the signal to the RF input on the RFM 150.
