8.1
Operating safety instructions
Falling loads due to rupture of the load carrier or misuse
Risk of severe injuries or death if persons are hit by falling loads
Observe without fail the instructions in chapter „General safety
information"
During operation, especially observe the instructions given in the
safety information in „Safe working"
Prior to any use, check the balance for accurate function and
absence of damage.
Never exceed the specified maximum load (Max.) of the balance.
Danger when lifting heavy load
Lifting heavy loads may cause injuries and permanent impairments
(e.g. damage to the spine)
When lifting heavy loads, care of the correct body posture (back
straight, lifting from the knees)
Squat down if you want to put the load down again
Ask another person for help if the load is too heavy for you.
