8.1

Operating safety instructions

Falling loads due to rupture of the load carrier or misuse
Risk of severe injuries or death if persons are hit by falling loads
 Observe without fail the instructions in chapter „General safety
information"
 During operation, especially observe the instructions given in the
safety information in „Safe working"
 Prior to any use, check the balance for accurate function and
absence of damage.
 Never exceed the specified maximum load (Max.) of the balance.
Danger when lifting heavy load
Lifting heavy loads may cause injuries and permanent impairments
(e.g. damage to the spine)
 When lifting heavy loads, care of the correct body posture (back
straight, lifting from the knees)
 Squat down if you want to put the load down again
 Ask another person for help if the load is too heavy for you.
