Rechargeable battery/battery operation

Risk of fire and explosion due to wrong handling of rechargeable
batteries/batteries
Fire or explosion may lead to severe injury
 Follow without fail the indications about rechargeable batteries and
batteries in chapter "General safety information"
 Never charge the batteries. Only rechargeable batteries may be
recharged.
6.4.1
Inserting, exchanging and storage
 When inserting rechargeable batteries and batteries, observe the
correct polarity (see specification of "+/-" in the rechargeable
battery or battery compartment).
 Replace rechargeable batteries and batteries only by the same or
by a type recommended by the manufacturer.
 If possible, remove the rechargeable batteries and batteries and
store them separated (protected against short-circuit) if the
balance is not used for a longer time. Leaking battery liquid could
damage the balance.
