H ow to knit tucking pattern

Tu c king pattern is a variation of 1
full needle rib. In the following des c ription,
tu c king pattern of full needle rib is made.
The example is knitted with fine wool
(Ex. 2ply).
CASTING-ON FOR TUCKING PATTERN
*
This is the same as for full needle rib.
TUCKING PATTERN KNITTING.
1 . Ta k e the No. 20 pun c h c ard provided in
the K H pun c h c ards, and set it to the
knitting ma c hine.
2 . After knitting the selvedge, move the
c onne c ted c arr i age from right to left.
(Remaining the c arriage setting.)
3. Set the starting line of the pun c h c ard,
and c ard lo c k lever to
4. Set the c hange knob to "'KC".
5 . Move the c onne c ted c arriage from left
to right.
(The plain needles knit, and
c orresponded needles to the pun c h
c ard are brought to position 0 of KH
bed.)
6. Set the c ard lo c k lever to
7 . Set the c arriages as showin in the Fig. 1 00.
8 . Continue the knitting.
Note : If the end needles of K H bed is
not brought by the c arriage,
bring to position 0 by hand.
