Here are a few important points to
remember before y o u start knitting

TENSION DIAL
The tension in knitting denotes the size of
the stitch. The tension dial on the KR
carriage is graduated from "O" to "8", each
space between numbers being subdivided
into three parts. The figure "O" denotes the
tightest tension, i.e. the smallest stitch and
the "8" denotes the loosest or largest
stitch.
The tension at which a garment is knitted
depends not only on personal tast, but also
on the type of garment required and the
t�ickness of the wool.
The following tension chart is a guide for
your reference.
