How to knit 2 X 2 rib

2 rib is 2 knit and 2 purl rib.
In one row, 2 knit stitches alternate with 2
purl stitches and vertically form knit stitch
over knit stitch and purl stitch over purl
stitch.
In the following example, medium thickness
wool is used.

1 . Setting of carriage

Holding cam lever
2. Needle arrangement
a. Set the half pitch lever on .. P", and
racking indicator on No 5.
b. By using 2/2 needle pusher, arrange the
plain needles and purl needles in
position B of each bed. (see Fig. 63.)
Note
:
Both end needles must be plain
needles.
c. Set the half pitch lever on "H".
d. Set the racking indicator on No 4.
