3.3.4 Main Parts of Power Distribution Cabinet

The power distribution cabinet is used for communication and power distribution.
Description
Name
When a fault occurs inside the transformer, a large
amount of gas is generated, and the pressure of
the insulating oil rises sharply. This valve automati-

of the transformer can be rapidly reduced to a nor-
mal value. And a signal is sent to trip the circuit
breaker.
The alarm threshold is 95 ℃. An alarm signal is
sent if the oil temperature reaches 95 ℃.
Oil temperature

The tripping threshold is 100 ℃. A tripping signal is
sent if the oil temperature reaches 100 ℃.
When a fault occurs in the transformer, the oil in the
oil tank will be decomposed to generate gas, and
the gas will rise and enter the gas relay.
Gas relay
In case the gas generated is light, the alarm sig-
nal contact will be connected, and alarm signal
will be sent out.
In case the gas generated is heavy, the tripping
signal contact will be connected, and the circuit
breaker in the switchgear trips, so that the trans-
former will be disconnected from the grid to
avoid device damage.
