To remove Oracle 8.1.6, follow these steps:
Go to Control Panel, double-click the Services icon. The Services
dialog box appears (Figure

Stop all Oracle Windows services (any names that start with
Oracle, e.g., OracleServiceORCL) and click Stop. A dialog box
appears, asking if you want to stop the Oracle service.
Click Yes. When the service is stopped, you are returned to the
Services dialog box. Close Services and Control Panel.
Click the Start button > Programs > Oracle Installation
Products > Universal Installer. The Oracle Universal
Installer screen appears
