l. Unscrew four screws to remove the lower paper feed guide.
m. Unscrew the follow set screw to remove the front side collar of the
feed roller shaft. On the rear side, remove the E ring and the
bearing and switch back the feed roller shaft to remove it upward.

n. Remove the E ring and bearing from the front side plate side (@)
of the half roller.
o. Slide the shaft to the rear side to remove the rear side bearing,
and remove the front side by lifting up.
p. Remove the E ring of the half roller side, and remove the half
roller.

5. Installation of feed roller
Set the feed roller by clamping the collar 8 with the hex. socket head
set screw using a spacer of 0.1mm thickness.

Remove the document tray and the transfer cover.

Open the feed cover.

Remove two screws

Remove three E rings and remove the gear and the bearing.

Switch back the resist roller and remove it by lifting upwards.

7. Mounting the open/close switch
Adjust the mount of the open/close switch assembly so that, as the
DF is closed from its open position, the micro switch turns on when
the distance between the glass surface and the DF spacer (front side)
becomes 10 to 40mm.
