Hardware Bypass connects the phone directly to
the line. In this state, the local phone can be used
as if the DataPort 2001 is powered off.

RI Follows Local Phone
Determines whether the RI (Ring Indicator) signal
indicates the hookswitch status of the telephone
connected to the Voice Interface Port.
