To reduce the risk of electric shock, the
air to the air driven power supply must
be shut off before servicing the control.
Replacing the Solenoid Valves
The proportioner is shipped standard with three sole-
noid valves. From left to right, they are for the propor-
tioning pump, the alarm, and the solvent pump.
The remaining two positions are for the feed pump A
and feed pump B solenoid valves, available as an
option. Order Feed Pump Control Kit 240689, and
refer to the instructions on page 8 of this manual.

Service
1. Follow the Pressure Relief Procedure on page 20.
2. Turn off the air to the control.
3. Remove the top cover (25).
4. Disconnect the air lines to the solenoid valve being
removed. See Fig. 106.
5. Disconnect the electrical connector to the solenoid
valve being removed.
6. Remove the nuts (128) holding the solenoid valve
to the back of the cabinet.
7. Replace in the reverse order of removal; be sure
not to crimp or pinch the wires.
