Care, maintenance and disposal
General
Under normal operating conditions, PlasmaModule 10 requires only a minimum of care
and maintenance. However, it is vital to observe some important points to ensure the
plasma welding system remains in a usable condition for many years.

Air inlets and outlets must never be covered, not even partially.

Do not bring air nozzle too close to electronic components.

Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with the applicable national and local regulations.

WARNING!
Before opening the device:
Move the mains switch to the - O - position
Unplug the device from the mains
Put up an easy-to-understand warning sign to stop anybody inadvertently switching
it back on again
Using a suitable measuring instrument, check to make sure that electrically charged
components (e.g. capacitors) have been discharged
Check the mains plug, mains cable, plasma torch, interconnecting hosepack and
ground earth connection for damage
Check that there is a gap of 0.5 m (19.69 in.) all around the device to ensure that
cooling air can flow in and out unhindered
If present: Clean air filter
Dismantle device side panels and clean inside of device with dry reduced compres-
sed air
If a lot of dust has accumulated, clean the cooling air ducts.
