(1) Begin by configuring the ELS to enable the GW.075 event as either a Trace, Syslog event, or snmp-trap.
For more detailed instructions on ELS configuration, please refer to the "Teldat Dm704-I Configuration and
Monitoring" manual.
(2) If necessary, proceed to configure the SNMP protocol, host, and sending parameters.
For further guidance on SNMP configuration, consult the "Teldat Dm712-I SNMP Agent" manual.
(3) If necessary, configure and enable the Syslog feature and server.
For additional information on the Syslog feature, please refer to the "Teldat Dm753-I Syslog Client" manual.

4.6 Troubleshooting

The table below provides guidance for troubleshooting device installation issues. If you encounter a problem that
cannot be resolved using the table, please contact your dealer for further assistance.
Symptom
None of the LEDs on the router
are lighting up.
The local console is unrespons-
ive.
The local console is displaying
irrelevant information.
You have forgotten the access
password for the router.
The device loses date and time
settings upon restarting.
The LAN, WAN, or SFP LEDs
fail to light up in green.
The S LED is red.

Solution
Verify the power supply to the router, including the power source and main power
outlet.
Ensure that the correct console cable is being used and that it is properly connec-
ted to both the device and the asynchronous terminal.
Verify that the terminal is configured with the correct port.
Verify that the terminal configuration is 115200 8N1.
Check that the console is not being used for event processing.
Verify that the terminal is configured with the correct port.

Ignore the configuration through the RST button (as described in the appropriate
section).
Any parameters configured using the time set command will not be preserved
after the device restarts. We recommend using the NTP protocol to maintain ac-
curate date and time settings.
Inspect the Ethernet cable, fiber connection, and network connection (a crossover
cable may be required).

Ensure that the SIM card is inserted correctly,

Check if the antenna has been properly installed by ensuring it has been screwed
