Preface
This manual, SY3 l-0244, contains maintenance information
for the IBM 5410 Processing Unit. It should be used in
conjunction with the maintenance manuals for the System/3
input/output devices to fully maintain the system.
The
IBM 5410 Processing Unit Theory of Operation,
SY31-0207, gives the instructional material.
Fourth Edition (January 1971)
This is a major revision of, and obsoletes, SY31-0244-l.
Some illustrations in this manual have a code number in the lower comer. This is a
publishing control number and is not related to the subject matter.
Significant changes or additions to the specifications contained in this publication
are continually being made. When using this publication in connection with the
operation of IBM equipment, check the latest FE Publication System Sequence
Listing for revisions or contact the local IBM branch office.
