During operation

WARNING
・For safety, give yourself plenty of time when operating the machine. Do not attempt sudden
starts or sudden braking. Take extra caution and slow down while turning to avoid falling off.
・Always work with comfortable posture and take breaks appropriately .
・Be sure that there are no people especially children, animals or vehicles close by. If children
approach the machine, please turn off the engine immediately.
・Do not allow flammable substances near the engine or the path of the exhaust as this can
cause a fire. Do not touch the engine or muffler as they become extremely hot during operation
and can cause severe burns.
・Do not operate the machine on slopes above 10°. Always maneuver the machine in a
horizontal fashion when using it on slopes. Use extra caution while turning on slopes. The
machine may slip and fall toward you if you use the machine vertically up and down slopes.
Always walk behind the machine on slopes.
・Give yourself extra space when operating the machine near the edge of slopes, curbs and
ditches etc. Get an understanding of the road surfaces and circumstances and always walk
behind the machine when driving into the road, over loose ground or when going over a step.
・Always keep hands and feet clear of the tracks when engine is on.
・When starting the machine, engage the parking brake and step on or close to the platform and
watch out for your surroundings.
・Never change the high-low range lever on slopes. Machine may lose control.
・Do not operate the machine when in icy conditions.
・When reversing, check that there are no people or obstacles behind you and that you have a
secure foothold.
・Be mindful of surrounding obstacles that may hit your head when driven under if not paying
attention.
・Only one person should operate machine at a time. Do not carry things on this machine.
・Always put the parking brake on and stop the engine and shift the key into the off position. The
battery will die if you forget turn it off. Remove the key and take it with you when you leave the
machine unattended.
・When inspecting, stop the engine and wait for it to cool down. Use appropriate safety gear such
as safety gloves to protect you from injuries.
CAUTION
・When inspecting or lifting, take precautions to prevent the machine from falling.
・When leaving the machine unattended, park on a flat surface with the engine switched off.
Take the ignition key out from the machine.
・If you notice any strange noises, smells, heat, or vibrations during the operation of this
machine,
switch off the engine immediately, as there may be risk of fire. Have the machine
inspected for damage and obstructions and have any damaged parts repaired.
・If anything gets into the track, such as a rock or branch, stop the engine immediately and
carefully remove the obstruction.
・If you feel anything abnormal, switch off the engine and then inspect.
