CATALYST COMBUSTOR REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENT
1. Allow the stove to burn out and cool down.
2. Remove baffles - Tilt the front baffle forward and carefully side it out of
the unit.
Note: F2500 shown
3. Slide the back baffle to the front of the unit.

4. Tilt the second baffle forward and carefully slide it out of the unit in the
same manner as step 2.
5. Remove locking clip from the front face of the Catalyst assembly by sliding
up and out.

6. Pull the flame shield forward and tilt down, be prepared to support catalyst
assembly.
7. Pull down catalyst assembly to remove.
8. If the bypass rod/clip requires replacement also reach up into the catalyst
cartridge and remove bypass rod clip. Slide out bypass rod from the front
of the insert.
9. Take your new or cleaned out round catalyst and install it into the square
support. Then take the catalyst and square support and insert it into the
cartridge in the unit. Take the flame shield and slide back end into the
opening. After sliding flame shield into position—secure in place by sliding
the clip down (reverse Step 5). The install of the catalyst, bypass rod, and
flue adaptor is now complete.

10. Repeat steps 7-1.
NOTE: When cleaning chimney, remove tubes, baffles, retainer, flame shield
and catalyst. After sweeping, re-install.
