The fan is maintenance-free.
Select regular cleaning intervals depending
on the degree of soiling. Do not clean the
cover in the dishwasher to avoid damage.
1. Remove the internal cover. ATTENTION: Do
not pull off the inner internal cover at the in-
ternal grille or the upper side → damage to
unit.
2. Clean unit components with a dry cloth.
Use a vacuum cleaner if necessary. To clean
the external shutter, swing the lamellae up-
wards. Do not use any aggressive, harmful or
highly flammable cleaning agents for cleaning.
3. Fit internal cover. Do not twist it.

11 Fault rectification

Fault finding and repairs only permissible
when carried out by qualified electricians.
When the unit is at a standstill, check
whether the thermal overload protection of
the motor has reacted. The fan switches on
automatically after cooling down.
Malfunction
Fan does not switch
on.

12 Spare parts

Spare parts may only be sourced from and
fitted by a specialist installer. Only use original
spare parts.

Cause, measures
No mains voltage.
Check whether the
mains fuse has failed.
Switch on if necessary.
Motor too hot. Wait
until motor and temper-
ature limiter have
cooled. Cool-down time
can take up to 15
minutes.
Check impeller. En-
sure that the impeller is
not blocked by foreign
bodies. Switch off the
fan, secure it against
being switched back on
and clean it. Check the
fan for unusual noises
during operation.

3. Rating plate no. X (on the side of the rating
plate → Figure 1 above.)
