Troubleshooting

The lifting device may only be installed and maintained by qualified specialist personnel and mechanics. See
section 1.10 Operator duties.
After carrying out repair and maintenance work, always inspect the safety features
as outlined in section "9.5 Inspecting safety features."
If the load cannot be lifted, work through the following list to identify and rectify the problem.
Problem
Vacuum generation is not
operational
Vacuum generation in
process, vacuum of -0.6
bar has not been reached
Vacuum generation in
progress, suction not
present
Light is flashing, vacuum is
falling below -0.48 bar.

Cause
Battery is empty or defective
Plug connector not connected to the
battery
Sealing lip on suction plate is damaged Replace suction plate
Load has cracks, gaps or is porous
Gauge is faulty
Leaking hose/screw unions
Vacuum switch misaligned/faulty
Filter is dirty
Filter not closed
Leaking hose/screw unions
Switch on/off switch to position "I"
(only one vacuum pump running)
Manual slide valve is in "Release"
position
Manual slide valve faulty
Load has cracks, gaps or is porous
Sealing lip is damaged
Faulty hose/leaking screw unions
Vacuum switch misaligned/faulty
Solution
Charge or replace battery (see section
9.2)
Connect plug adapter
Load can not be handled with this
lifting device
Replace the gauge
Replace/seal components
Contact customer service
Blow filter out or replace
Close filter
Replace/seal components
Switch on/off switch to position "II"
(two vacuum pumps running)
Move manual slide valve to "Apply
suction to load" position
Contact customer service
Load can not be handled with this
lifting device
Replace suction plate
Replace components
