More Image Quality

Use these features to enhance the copy quality of the output based on the quality
of the original being scanned.
Options:
The Contrast option controls the differences between the image densities within the

ONTRAST
copy. Select a lower setting to improve the copy quality of pictures. Select a higher
setting to produce more vivid colors for sharper text and lines.
The Sharpness feature controls the balance between sharp text and moiré

HARPNESS
(undesirable patterns within the image). Use sharpness to enhance the copy quality
after evaluating the output. High sharpness settings provide sharper text and lines
but increase the likelihood of moiré.
The Screen feature is only available when Normal, Text and Halftone Original Types

CREEN
are selected. The Auto and Special buttons are grayed out and are not selectable if
Photo Original Type is selected.
