Starting pyrolytic cleaning

Risk of injury caused by
hazardous steam.
During pyrolytic cleaning, steam,
which can irritate mucous
membranes, can be released.
During pyrolytic cleaning, do not stay
in the kitchen for long periods of time
and do not let children and pets
enter the kitchen.
It is important to ensure that the
kitchen is well ventilated during
pyrolytic cleaning. Prevent the odour
from escaping into other rooms.
Risk of injury caused by hot
surfaces.
The oven gets much hotter during
pyrolytic cleaning than during normal
use.
Do not let children touch the oven
during pyrolytic cleaning.

 Select pyrolytic cleaning .
  will appear. The digit will flash.
Use the rotary selector   to choose
between  ,   and  .
 Select the pyrolytic cleaning level you
want.
 Confirm with OK.
 and  will appear on the display.
While  is flashing, the door is locked
automatically. As soon as the door is
locked,  will light up and the duration
of the pyrolytic cleaning programme 
will appear.
The oven heating and the cooling fan
will then switch on automatically.
The pyrolytic cleaning programme will
start. You cannot alter the duration.
The oven interior lighting is switched off
during pyrolytic cleaning.
If you set a minute minder during
pyrolytic cleaning, the minute minder
duration will be displayed. At the end
of the minute minder duration, a
buzzer will sound,  will flash and the
time will start counting up. When you
touch the  sensor control, the
acoustic and visual signals are
switched off. The remaining pyrolytic
cleaning duration will appear again.
