7.9 Checking the electrodes
If the device notifies a fault, this could be for several reasons:
Electrode plug not plugged in
There is contact between the defibrillation electrodes or
a conductive gel connection.
Hair on patient has not been removed
Air pockets between skin and defibrillation electrodes cause a bad contact.
Dried out electrodes.
Remedy the cause of the fault.
