ENGLISH
− Ensure the rip fence is adjusted
exactly parallel with the saw blade.
− Always use sharp saw blades. If in
doubt check workpiece for inclusion
of foreign objects (e.g. nails, screws,
lose knots).
− Always work one workpiece at a
time.
− Always hold the workpiece down on
the table and do not jam it.
− Do not attempt to stop the saw
blade by pushing the workpiece
against its side.
Danger!
Drawing-in/trapping hazard!
− Use a feeding aid (push stick) if you
want to cut short stock.
− Never cut stock to which ropes,
cords, strings, cables and wires are
attached or which contain such
materials.

Operation

1.
Set bevel angle:
− Loosen wing nut (58).
− Tilt the sawhead to obtain the
desired bevel angle.
− Tighten wing nut (58) to secure the
sawhead in position.
2.
Cutting height setting:
− Turn lever (59) counter-clockwise.
− Set desired cutting height by raising
or lowering the lever – the distance
between the workpiece and lower
front edge of the blade guard must
not be more than 2 mm.
− Turn lever (59) clockwise to secure
it in the position set.
3.
If necessary, use fence extrusion,
sliding carriage or table extension.
4.
Set operating mode selector to cir-
cular saw mode.
5.
Start motor.

Assume proper operating position:

Cut workpiece in a single pass.
8.
Stop machine and lower the saw
blade guard fully, if no further cutting
is to be done immediately after-
wards.
Tips and Tricks
Use roller supports on both sides of
the saw when cutting long stock.
To simplify repetitive cut-off work
use a stock stop.

9. Spindle Moulder Mode

9.1

Setup

Danger!
Before setting the machine up:
− Switch machine OFF.
− Unplug.
− Wait until machine has come to a
complete stop.
Cutter fence installation:

1.
Lower saw blade below the table
and cover with the table insert (see
"Spindle Moulder Mode").
2.
Loosen the wing nut (60) of the cut-
ter spindle stop.

3.
To raise the cutter spindle (61) turn
lever counter-clockwise, lift up and
tighten again by turning clockwise.
4.
Slide moulding fence carrier (62)
into the groove (63) of the table,
until the centering pin (64) is over
the cutter spindle.

5.
Adjust cutter fence so that the axes
of cutter spindle (65) and centering
pin (66) are exactly lined up.
6.
Tighten all wing nuts and lock levers
of the cutter fence.
7.
Recheck to see that the axes of cut-
ter spindle and centering pin are
exactly in line.
Then slide the centering pin up and
lock in position.
Cutter installation:
1.
To raise the cutter spindle (67) turn
lever counter-clockwise, lift up and
tighten again by turning clockwise.

To lock the cutter spindle, slide the

long lock bar (68) into the slot in the
table.
3.
Loosen the collet nut (69) and
remove any possibly fitted cutter.
