Now start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices on your external device. You
may need to enable the Bluetooth feature on your external device first.
You can find out how to activate the Bluetooth function and carry out a search
on your external device by consulting the instruction manual for your external
device.
The two devices should be within 10 cm of each other during the pairing
process.

The entry DIGITRADIO 21 IR should now appear in the list of Bluetooth
devices found on your external device. Tap on the name of the radio to
complete the pairing process. If the pairing process is completed successfully,
[Connected] appears on the display of the DIGITRADIO 21 IR and a
confirmation tone sounds.

You can now start playing music on your external device.
Depending on the Bluetooth protocol of your external device, you may be able
control the music playback using the SCROLL/SELECT knob.

Alternatively you can use the playback controls in the music app on your
external device.
If no sound is being played, or no device is paired, the DIGITRADIO 21 IR
switches to standby mode after approx. 15 minutes.
13.3 Cancelling pairing

You can cancel an active pairing on your external device. Follow the
instructions in the device manufacturer's instruction manual.
Alternatively:
Hold down the PRESET button until [Bluetooth visible] appears on the
display.
14 Other functions
14.1 Sleep Timer
The sleep timer automatically switches the DIGITRADIO 21 IR to Standby after the set
time.

Briefly press the SLEEP/SNOOZE button (8) several times in normal operation
mode. You can choose between Off, 15, 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
Press the Play/Pause/SCAN button (9).
