FLYWHEEL
REMOVAL
Remove the alternator cover
(page
12-20).
Hold the flywheel
['1]
using the special tool and loosen
the
flywheel bolt
[2]
NOTE:

Set
the
holding block
[3] of the flywheel holder
[4]
avoiding the
flywheel reluctors.
TOOL:
Flywheel
holder

Remove
the
bolt and
washer
[5].
Remove the
flywheel
[1] using
the special tool.
TOOL:
[2] Rotor puller
07733-0020001
or
07933-3950000
INSTALLATION
Clean any oil from the tapered areas of the crankshaft
and flywheel thoroughly.
lnstall the flywheel
[1].
Apply engine oil to the flywheel bolt threads and seating
surface.
Install the
washer
[2] and
flywheel bolt
[3].
Hold
the flywheel
using
the special tool and tighten
the
flywheel bolt to the specified torque.
NOTE:

Set
the

of the
flywheel holder
[5]
avoiding the
flywheel reluctors.
