lnstallation is
in
the reverse order of
removal.
NOTE;
.
Replace
the alternator cover gasket and
O-ring with
new ones. Apply
engine oil to the O-ring.
.
lnstall the orifice [1] with the stepped side facing
in.
.
Apply liquid sealant
to
the
mating areas
of
crankcase as
shown (page
1-17).
Check the
oil level (page 3-10).
Make sure there are no oil
leaks.

Remove the following:

alternator cover

stator wire clamp socket bolt

stator wire clamp
[2]
-
alternator wire
grommet
[3]
-
alternator stator bolts
[4]
-
stator
[5]
-
bolt
[6]
-
MP sensor
[7]
-
O-ring [8]
lnstallation is in the reverse order of removal.
TORQUE:
Alternator stator bolt:
12
N.m
(1.2
kgf.m,9lbf.ft)
Stator wire clamp socket bolt:
12 N.m (1.2
kgf.m,9lbf.ft)
NOTE:
.
Replace the O-ring with
a
new one and coat it
with
engine
oil.
.
Apply liquid sealant
to
the wire
grommet
seating
surface (page
1-17).
