Digital Outputs (3AODO8/3OTSG8/OUT08)

When a channel on the 8-channel output module is configured as a digital output, it has
the following characteristics:
Internally, the DO acts as a simple contact closure. When 1 (ON) the contact closes,
when 0 (OFF) the contact opens. A simple contact closure conducts current in either
direction.
There is no polarity associated with DO terminals.
When configured as a DO, the DOLO terminal of each DO channel has no connection
to ground. Each DOLO terminal simply connects only to its corresponding DOHI
terminal when the DO is ON, and disconnects from all terminals when the DO is OFF.
If common grounding among DO channels is required, you must configure it
externally to the personality module.

I/O Configuration and Wiring
For current mode, the minimum load impedance driven by any AO channel to allow
detection of a short-circuit is 40 ohms. If the load impedance is less than 40 ohms,
the firmware detects a short circuit even though it might not exist. The maximum
load impedance in current mode is 500 ohms.
