Suction plates/sealing lips

Clean the sealing lips at least once a week to remove adhering objects and dirt such as adhesive,
glue and chips, dust, etc. Use glycerine for cleaning.
Replace damaged or worn suction plates/sealing lips (cracks, holes, ripples) immediately.
Use a cold cleaner to clean the appliance (do not use petroleum ether or corrosive liquids. This
would cause the hoses to leak or be destroyed).

Replacing sponge rubber seals

Filter

Check the paper filter at least once a week.
Change filter if heavily soiled.
Procedure:
Open the appliance cover
Loosen the hose clamp and remove the filter
Insert new filter and secure again with hose clamp
Close the appliance cover again

Remove the defective seal from the socket using a scraper or screwdriver.
Completely clean the metal surface of adhering adhesive and rubber parts with
benzine or thinner.
Attention:
Do not smoke or work near sources of ignition!
Petrol and thinner are highly flammable!
The surface must be clean and dry.
Coat the socket and new sponge rubber seal with TIVO adhesive.
Caution: Only coat the underside of the socket, not the sides.
Allow to dry for 10 minutes. Coat repeatedly and then allow to dry again
allow to dry for approx. 5 min.
Press the sponge rubber seal into the socket. Make sure that the seal does not
stick to the sides. Clamp the gripper to a table for approx. half an hour using a
screw clamp.
