2.10.2 General
The lifting device has the following safety devices
•
Handbrake, for locking the chassis
•
Support feet
•
Locking devices for transportation
Check these safety devices at the start of each work shift (for intermittent operation) or once a week (for continuous
operation).
Eliminate defects before putting the appliance into operation. If faults occur during operation, switch off the appliance
and rectify the faults.
Check handbrake:
•
Apply the handbrake,
•
Push the chassis firmly. It must not be possible to move the appliance.
Check support feet:
•
Before each use, check that all four supports are folded out and secured.
•
Check that all supports are extended so that they stand firmly on the ground.
Hands can be crushed if the support legs are folded in and out incorrectly.

at the beginning of each work shift in the case of interrupted operation or

once a week during continuous operation
Warning device monitors the operating vacuum and power failure
•
Switch on the lifting device.
•
Place the lifting device on a stone slab or similar and suck in the stone
slab.
Caution: Only suck up the stone slab, do not lift it! The stone slab may come
loose during the inspection and fall down.
•
When the vacuum is built up, create a leak at the sealing lip of the suction
plate.
The negative pressure on the pressure gauge decreases. When the
pointer reaches the red danger zone (- 0.42 bar)
Check all suction hoses and hose clamps for tight fit, tighten if necessary.
Eliminate faults before putting the appliance into operation. If faults
occur during operation, switch off the appliance and rectify the faults.
