3. Type the following to disable autonegotiation on a GigabitEthernet port.
Replace portnumber with the Ethernet port used by the adapter.
>> Configuration# /port portnumber/auto off
4. Type the following to apply and save your changes.
>> Configuration# apply
>> Configuration# save

To Set Autonegotiation to off for Other
Noncompliant Network Equipment
If your network equipment does not support autonegotiation, you can set
autonegotiation to off on the GigabitEthernet (ge) device.
1. Set the following GigabitEthernet driver parameters to values according to the
documentation that shipped with your switch: adv_1000fdx_cap,
adv_1000hdx_cap, adv_pauseTX and adv_pauseRX.
2. Set the adv_1000autoneg_cap parameter to 0.
